Updated: October 29, 2026

This TCG release calendar lists every 2027 date we could find for the five games collectors ask us about most: Pokémon, One Piece Card Game, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball and Disney Lorcana. Each date is marked announced (the publisher has put it on its own page) or reported (trade press, distributors or retailers), with the source linked, so you know how much to trust it before you plan a preorder.

The December 2026 rows are there because they're the last releases before the new year, and several of them shape what collectors buy in January.

Month-by-month grid for the five games from December 2026 to later 2027: announced dates such as Immortal Phoenix on Jan 29 and Into the Inkdark on Feb 12 in solid boxes, reported dates such as Flowing Fists on Feb 5 and OP-19 on Mar 5 in dashed boxes, and Lorcana's spring and late-2027 sets as season-only boxes
Almost everything dated so far falls before April. Status checked on publisher sites Oct 29, 2026.

What do "announced" and "reported" mean?

An announced date is one the publisher has printed on its own product page or press release. A reported date comes from somewhere else: trade news like ICv2, distributor preorder sheets, retailer listings or leak sites. Reported dates are usually right, but they move more often, and they can be off by a few days between regions.

There are two more kinds you'll run into:

  • Windows. Publishers sometimes give a season instead of a day. Ravensburger has said Cosmic Quest arrives in "Spring 2027", nothing more precise (Disney Lorcana, Sep 22, 2026).
  • Placeholders. Store listings often use a dummy date, such as January 1 or "TBA", until they hear the real one. A date that sits exactly on the first of a month is worth a second look.
Four labels for a release date: announced (on the publisher's own page), reported (trade press, distributors or retailers), window (a season, not a day) and placeholder (a store's stand-in date), with how each is shown on the timeline
Before you preorder, find the date on the publisher's own site.

January 2027

January is a quiet month for big sets and a busy one for decks.

  • Fusion World starter decks FS13 and FS14, Jan 22 (announced). Bandai lists The Saiyan Raised on Earth and The Prince of Saiyan on its English Fusion World product page (Bandai). They land five weeks after FB12; our guide to FB12 Reach the God chase cards covers that set.
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Immortal Phoenix, Jan 29 (announced). It's the first Yu-Gi-Oh! booster of 2027 on Konami's list (Konami), and the only 2027 entry in ICv2's running Yu-Gi-Oh! calendar so far (ICv2, Oct 27, 2026).
  • One Piece EB-06, Jan 29 (reported). ICv2 reported the preorder in June 2026: an Extra Booster with 24 packs per display, aimed at giving older Leaders new cards (ICv2, Jun 26, 2026). Bandai hadn't listed it on its English product page when we checked.

February 2027

February is the busiest month dated so far, with three of the five games releasing a booster.

Pokémon Flowing Fists, Feb 5 (reported)

Flowing Fists is reported as the next English Pokémon set after Delta Reign, led by Mega Lucario Z ex and based on the Japanese set Aura Seeker (Japan, Nov 27, 2026) (Wargamer, Oct 21, 2026). The date traces back to PokéBeach, and Lv1Gaming notes it hadn't been formally announced by The Pokémon Company (Lv1Gaming, Oct 21, 2026). Pokémon's press schedule listed nothing for 2027 when we checked (Pokémon press site). If you're new to how the Mega Evolution sets are structured, our Delta Reign guide walks through the last one.

Lorcana Into the Inkdark, Feb 12 (announced)

The official product page lists a prerelease on Feb 5 and release on Feb 12 (Disney Lorcana), and ICv2 confirms the year: "expected February 12, 2027" (ICv2, Oct 23, 2026). This is a big one for collectors. It brings the first Collector Boosters, 12-card packs where every card is foil, sold at select Ravensburger Play Hub stores and Disney Parks and stores. They're the only place to find the new Illustrious rarity: six serialized cards per set, with just 23 copies of each (Disney Lorcana, Sep 22, 2026). We'll cover the Lorcana rarity ladder and the most valuable Lorcana cards in their own posts in the new year.

Dragon Ball Masters B33, February (reported)

Retailers list the next Masters booster, B33, for February 2027, without a day (ToyWiz). Treat it as a month, not a date, until Bandai publishes one.

Japan: Pokémon MEGA x MEGA Parade, Feb 19 (reported)

In Japan, PokéBeach has reported a high-class pack called MEGA x MEGA Parade for Feb 19, 2027, and several shop listings use placeholder dates around it (Samurai Sword Tokyo, Oct 2, 2026). No English version has been announced.

March 2027

One Piece OP-19, Mar 5 (reported). A European retailer lists OP-19 for March 5, 2027, with prereleases from Feb 26 to Mar 4 (Universe TCG, Jul 30, 2026). Bandai hadn't put OP-19 on its Japanese or English product pages as of early October (Samurai Sword Tokyo, Oct 8, 2026). Its name and card list weren't public either. For the set before it, see our OP-18 chase cards guide.

Spring and the rest of 2027

Only Lorcana has said anything about the second half of the year:

  • Cosmic Quest, spring 2027 (announced window). Ravensburger says it features Ariel, Flounder, Stitch and his alien experiments, and WALL•E and EVE for the first time (Disney Lorcana, Sep 22, 2026).
  • An unnamed set, late 2027 (announced window). The same press release teases it without a name.

Everything else from April 2027 on is unannounced: Pokémon after Flowing Fists, One Piece after OP-19, Yu-Gi-Oh! after Immortal Phoenix, Fusion World's next main booster (FB13 wasn't listed) and Lorcana's exact dates. We'll add them here as publishers confirm them.

Dot chart of 2026 English booster releases by game: Pokémon six sets about two months apart, One Piece seven, Yu-Gi-Oh! nine booster products, Fusion World five and Lorcana four
Pokémon and Lorcana kept a steady rhythm in 2026. Dates from each publisher's site.

A few patterns stand out:

  • Pokémon released a set every seven to nine weeks. If 2027 follows that rhythm, the next English set would land roughly two months after Flowing Fists.
  • One Piece slotted Extra Boosters between its main OP sets, so the longest wait for a new booster was about eleven weeks.
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! has the most products, because Konami mixes core boosters with reprint and special sets. That list doesn't even count boxed sets like Magnificent Maestros (Nov 13, 2026) (Konami).
  • Fusion World put out four main boosters, two to four months apart, plus a Story Booster in August.
  • Lorcana released four main sets, roughly one per season, which lines up with Into the Inkdark in February and Cosmic Quest in spring.

These are patterns, not promises. Publishers shift dates for print runs, events and holidays.

Japanese sets are a preview of English ones

For Pokémon, the Japanese set comes first and the English version follows a few months later, often with extra cards. Aura Seeker is reported for Nov 27, 2026 in Japan, and its English counterpart Flowing Fists for Feb 5, 2027, about ten weeks later (Wargamer). That's why Japanese card lists are the best early look at the next English chase cards. Our Japanese vs English Pokémon cards guide explains the other differences.

One Piece works differently now. OP-18 came out in Japan on Nov 21, 2026 and in English on Nov 20, a day earlier (Samurai Sword Tokyo), so there's no long preview window.

Dragon Ball Super Divers runs on its own schedule: it's a Japan-only arcade card game with a new set roughly every two months, so it isn't in the table. Our Super Divers collector's guide explains how those cards come out.

How to plan your collecting around the calendar

A calendar helps most when it stops you buying on impulse. A few habits that work across all five games:

  1. Pick the one or two releases you care about and ignore the rest. Nobody needs every set from five games.
  2. Wait for the publisher's date before you prepay anything on a reported date. Preorders on reported dates can slip.
  3. Set your budget per release, not per month. February 2027 alone could have boosters from Pokémon, Lorcana and Dragon Ball.
  4. Buy sealed from shops you trust. Release weeks are when resealed and fake product shows up most, so read our guide to spotting fake cards and resealed packs first.
  5. Have supplies ready before release day. Our card sleeve sizes by game chart tells you which sleeves fit which game.

When is the first Pokémon set of 2027?

Flowing Fists is reported for February 5, 2027, with Mega Lucario Z ex on the cover. The Pokémon Company hadn't listed it on its press schedule when we checked.

When does One Piece OP-19 come out?

Retailers list March 5, 2027 for the English release, with prereleases from February 26. Bandai hadn't published the date or the set name when we checked.

When is the next Disney Lorcana set?

Into the Inkdark releases February 12, 2027, with prereleases on February 5. Cosmic Quest follows in spring 2027.

Why do release dates change?

Print runs, shipping, events and regional schedules all move dates. Reported dates from retailers move most often, which is why we label every date by its source.

Do English and Japanese sets come out at the same time?

For One Piece, nearly: OP-18 launched a day apart. For Pokémon, Japan is usually a few months ahead, so Japanese sets preview the next English ones.
