FB12 Reach the God is the next Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World booster, out in Japan on December 12 and in English on December 18, 2026. This guide covers what's confirmed, which cards have been revealed so far, how Fusion World's alt-art tiers work, and what last set's chase cards tell us about where FB12's value will sit. Bandai hasn't published the full card list or any pull rates, so we label everything that's reported rather than official.

What's confirmed about FB12 so far?

Bandai has confirmed FB12's release dates, pack prices, pack sizes and its 123-card size. Everything else comes from Bandai's card-by-card reveals on social media and in V Jump, which arrive in the weeks before release.

  • Japan: Saturday, December 12, 2026, at ¥240 a pack (Bandai JP). Japanese starter decks FS13 The Saiyan Raised on Earth and FS14 The Prince of Saiyan come out the same day.
  • English: December 18, 2026, at $4.99 a pack. The English FS13 and FS14 follow on January 22, 2027, at $15.99 each (Bandai, products).
  • V Jump promo: the December V Jump (on sale in Japan October 21) includes a red Super Saiyan 3 Son Goku Battle Card and a preview of FB12 (Dragon Ball Official Site, Oct 21, 2026).

English and Japanese packs aren't interchangeable value-wise: an English pack has twice the cards of a Japanese pack. That's why Japanese and English box prices and odds can't be compared one to one.

Timeline of FB12 Reach the God releases: V Jump December issue with a Super Saiyan 3 Goku promo on October 21, 2026, the Japanese release with FS13 and FS14 starter decks on December 12, the English release on December 18, and the English FS13 and FS14 starter decks on January 22, 2027
Japan gets FB12 six days before English. Dates from Bandai, checked Oct 29, 2026.

Which FB12 cards have been revealed?

By October 28, 2026, 69 of FB12's 123 cards had been revealed, including all five leaders, according to the db-fusionworld.com reveal tracker, a fan site that compiles Bandai's reveals. Bandai's own card database hadn't added FB12 when we checked, so treat these as reported.

Source: db-fusionworld.com, last updated Oct 28, 2026. No Secret Rares (SCR) had been revealed by then.

The reveals point to a gods-themed set: Beerus and Whis as leaders, Champa and Vados from Universe 6, Golden Frieza with Sorbet, and Majin Buu saga support. If FB12 follows FB11, every leader and Super Rare will also have an alt-art version, and the three Secret Rares at the end of the list (FB12-121 to FB12-123) will be the set's top chase. We'll know for sure when Bandai reveals them.

How Fusion World chase rarities work

Fusion World cards have five base rarities, Common (C) to Secret Rare (SCR), plus Leaders (L), and the chase cards are the alt-art versions printed on top of them. An alt art (sometimes called a parallel, marked ★) is the same card with new art and a special finish; it plays exactly the same.

The tiers collectors chase, from most to least common (the order follows a Japanese guide's FB11 estimates, covered below):

  1. Alt-art Super Rares and Rares (SR★, R★). The "hits" you'll actually see. In FB11, Bandai gave every Super Rare an alt-art version (Bandai, FB11).
  2. Alt-art Secret Rares (SCR★). The set's Secret Rares with alternate art.
  3. Alt-art Leaders (L★). Every FB11 leader had one, and they're some of the most expensive cards in the set, since every deck is built around a leader.
  4. Super alt-art Secret Rares (SCR★★). The top tier: all three FB11 Secret Rares got one (Bandai, FB11).
Rarity ladder for Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare and Secret Rare as base rarities, with Leaders beside them, and the alt-art tiers above: Rare and Super Rare alt arts, Secret Rare alt arts, Leader alt arts, and Secret Rare super alt arts at the top
The alt-art versions, not the base rarities, are where Fusion World's chase lives. Structure from Bandai's FB11 page.

If you collect another game, the logic will feel familiar. Pokémon's Illustration Rares and One Piece's alt arts work the same way; our Pokémon card rarities guide and our OP-18 chase card guide explain those systems.

What FB11 tells us about FB12's chase cards

FB12 has the same 123-card size as FB11 Brightness of Hope, so FB11 is the best template for how FB12 will be built and priced. FB11's 123 cards break down as 5 Leaders, 40 Commons, 35 Uncommons, 25 Rares, 15 Super Rares and 3 Secret Rares, before alt arts (Nerd Snack, Oct 24, 2026).

FB12 also has 123 cards; its rarity split isn't published yet. FB11 breakdown from retailer listings, Oct 24, 2026.

TCGplayer Market Prices for English raw cards from TCGplayer's daily data file of Oct 27, 2026, via tcgcsv.com (e.g. Son Goku FB11-121 alt art). The three SCR super alt arts had no Market Price yet; their cheapest listings were $1,210 to $3,500 (asking prices, Shonen TCG, Oct 24, 2026).

Three lessons for FB12:

  • Goku leads. In FB11, the Goku Secret Rare and Goku leader alt arts were the two most expensive cards with a Market Price. FB12's reported Goku leader is a likely chase for the same reason.
  • Leader alt arts matter. Three of FB11's five most expensive cards were leader alt arts. Beerus, Whis and Golden Frieza leaders give FB12 a strong leader lineup for collectors.
  • The regular Secret Rare isn't the prize. FB11's regular-art Goku SCR was a fraction of its alt art's price. The alt-art version is what moves the needle.

We'll cover the most valuable cards across every Fusion World set in a separate list later this month.

FB12 pull rates: what's known

Nothing official. Bandai doesn't publish pull rates for Fusion World, and we couldn't find a measured English sample for FB11 or FB12 large enough to trust.

The closest thing is a Japanese guide's estimate for Japanese FB11 boxes (24 packs of 6 cards): about one alt art per box, an alt-art Secret Rare roughly once per 8 boxes, an alt-art leader roughly once per 12 boxes, and a super alt art roughly once per 60 boxes (Gamepedia, Sep 12, 2026). The guide says these aren't official and doesn't give a sample size. English packs have 12 cards, so English boxes aren't directly comparable.

In plain terms: open a box for the fun of it and expect a few alt-art hits. Don't open one expecting a super alt art.

English or Japanese FB12?

Buy the language you'll play or display. The two versions are different products.

  • English: 12 cards per pack, $4.99 MSRP, out December 18.
  • Japanese: 6 cards per pack, ¥240 including tax (about $1.52 at ¥158/$), out December 12. Cheaper per pack and six days earlier, but packs are half the size, and importing adds shipping and fees.
  • Value: English and Japanese copies of the same card are priced separately. Don't compare a Japanese asking price with an English sold price.

Should you preorder an FB12 booster box?

Only at a price close to retail, and only if you want to open it. Early English presale listings were well above what 24 packs cost at MSRP.

FB11 English booster box

$171.88

TCGplayer Market Price, Oct 27, 2026, 11 days after release

Data via tcgcsv.com (TCGplayer's daily file, Oct 27, 2026). The FB12 presale figure rests on very few sales, and the lowest listing was about the same ($598.40).

A few things to weigh:

  • Presale prices aren't retail. Your local game store may sell boxes for much less on release day; ask before you pay a presale premium.
  • FB11 is a useful comparison. Its English box had a $171.88 Market Price 11 days after release, a fraction of FB12's presale figure. Compare release-day prices before you pay a presale premium.
  • One card? Buy the single. At Japanese-estimated odds of about one super alt art in 60 boxes, opening for a specific top card costs far more than buying it.

If you do pull a big alt art, compare grading options in our PSA vs CGC vs TAG vs BGS guide before sending it off, and check any high-end single you buy against our fake cards and resealed packs checklist.
