Chromatic Ascension (DBS-B32) is the next Dragon Ball Super Card Game Masters booster, out November 27, 2026, with 185 cards and seven at the very top: three Secret Rares, three God Rares and one Anniversary God Rare. Bandai hasn't revealed which cards those are yet, so this guide covers the Chromatic Ascension chase cards by rarity tier, what the last two Ultra-Bout sets' top cards actually sell for, and what the presale box costs. Our methodology: set facts come from Bandai's product page and card database; prices are TCGplayer Market Prices and recorded sales for Near Mint English cards and sealed English boxes, read on October 31, 2026.

How we put this guide together

Because no B32 card has a name or a price yet, this isn't a countdown of singles. We ranked the set's rarities using Bandai's own counts, then looked at the two previous Ultra-Bout sets, B30 Three Glorious Fighters and B31 Impact Beyond Dimensions, as the closest model for where B32's value will sit. Card names and numbers come from Bandai's card database. Prices are TCGplayer Market Prices for raw, Near Mint, English singles and for sealed English boxes, with the sales behind them from TCGplayer's three-month sales history, all read on October 31, 2026. We'll turn this into a ranked list once the card list is out.

The Chromatic Ascension chase, rarity by rarity

Bandai published the full split of B32's 185 card types, and it adds up exactly. From the top down:

Bar chart of Chromatic Ascension's 185 card types by rarity: 50 Common, 40 Uncommon, 34 Rare, 18 Super Rare, 15 Special Rare, 11 Concept Rare, 10 Special Leader Rare, 3 Secret Rare, 3 God Rare and 1 Anniversary God Rare
Seven cards sit above the Special Leader Rares. Bandai DBS-B32 product page, checked Oct 31, 2026.

Anniversary God Rare (1 card)

A single card at a rarity of its own. Bandai's page lists it separately from the three God Rares but doesn't say what makes it different, which character it shows or how often it turns up. Speculation: as the only card at its rarity, it's the likeliest candidate for the set's top chase, but nobody will know until its character and art are revealed.

God Rares (GDR, 3 cards)

A God Rare (GDR) is the top regular rarity in Masters boosters. Bandai's database shows a clear pattern in the last two sets: each God Rare is a God Rare version of one of that set's Secret Rares, sharing its card number with a _GDR suffix.

  • B30: all three Secret Rares got God Rare versions: Bulma, Opening Chapter (BT30-149), Family Kamehameha, Miracle Blast (BT30-150) and SS4 Son Goku, Blasting Through the Demon Realm (BT30-151).
  • B31: SS Vegito & SS3 Gotenks, Fusion Warrior at Battle's End (BT31-151) has a God Rare version. Bandai's page counts two God Rares for B31, but only this one is listed under the set's code.

B32 has three God Rares and three Secret Rares, the same counts as B30. Speculation: B32 will likely repeat B30's pattern, with all three Secret Rares getting God Rare versions. We'll confirm when Bandai posts the list.

Secret Rares (SCR, 3 cards)

The Secret Rares are the set's top regular prints and take the last card numbers. In B31 all three were fusions: SS Gogeta, Hell-Piercing Flash (BT31-149), SSB Kaio-ken Vegito, True God Power (BT31-150) and SS Vegito & SS3 Gotenks (BT31-151). B30's three included SS4 Son Goku (BT30-151).

Special Leader Rares (SLR, 10 cards)

Special Leader Rares are special prints of the set's Leader cards, and every Masters deck needs a Leader. In B31, the SS4 Son Goku & SS4 Vegeta // SS4 Gogeta, Vainglorious Leader (BT31-041) had a $249.99 TCGplayer Market Price on October 31, 2026, close to that set's Secret Rares.

Special Rares and Concept Rares

Special Rares (SPR, 15) are alternate-art versions of Super Rares, as Card Gamer's rarity guide describes them. Concept Rares (CR, 11) are their own rarity on Bandai's list: in B31, the six Concept Rares (BT31-143 to BT31-148) were "Ultimate Warrior" cards for Gogeta, Vegito and Gotenks. B32 has eleven, nearly twice as many as B30 and B31, which had six each (Bandai's B30 and B31 pages).

What B30 and B31 tell us about B32 prices

The top of the Masters market is thin. The most valuable recent Ultra-Bout cards sell a handful of times a month or less, so one sale can move a Market Price a long way. Here's what the God Rares and Secret Rares of the last two sets looked like on October 31, 2026.

TCGplayer Market Price and sales history for raw, Near Mint, English cards, read Oct 31, 2026: BT31-151 GDR, BT30-149 GDR, BT30-151, BT31-150, BT31-149. Listings are asking prices, not sales. TCGplayer labels BT31-149 a Concept Rare; Bandai lists it as a Secret Rare.

Two things stand out. First, God Rares sell for several times a Secret Rare, but so rarely that a single sale sets the number: Bulma's $1,400 Market Price rests on one sale in three months. Second, TCGplayer's Market Price can lag well behind real sales. SSB Kaio-ken Vegito shows $405.90, but its six October sales all landed between $264.98 and $283.52. On cards this thin, read the recent sales, not just the headline price.

Release-event promos

Stores running the Chromatic Ascension Release Tournament (November 27 to December 3, 2026) give every player two silver-foil promos and a two-card Release Pack, according to Bandai's event page:

  • SS4 Vegeta, Guardian of Earth (Leader), silver foil
  • Son Goku, Earth's Roar (Battle card), silver foil

The winner of each event gets gold-stamped silver-foil versions of both, and each prize kit covers eight players. Player applications open November 13. These promos don't come in booster packs, so they're a separate chase for collectors who want everything with the set's name on it.

What does a Chromatic Ascension box cost before release?

On October 31, 2026, the sealed English Chromatic Ascension booster box had a presale TCGplayer Market Price of $529.89, with six listings from $519.60 (TCGplayer). That number rests on four presale orders between September 20 and October 26: six boxes in all, at $519.60 to $539.98.

Bar chart of booster box prices: 20 B32 packs at the $5.99 MSRP come to $119.80; B31 Impact Beyond Dimensions boxes have a $209.37 TCGplayer Market Price; B30 Three Glorious Fighters $216.65; and the B32 Chromatic Ascension presale box $529.89
The presale price rests on four orders. TCGplayer Market Price, sealed English boxes, Oct 31, 2026.

For comparison, on the same day:

  • B31 *Impact Beyond Dimensions* boxes had a $209.37 Market Price, with 233 boxes sold on TCGplayer in the past three months; the latest sales were $206 (TCGplayer).
  • B30 *Three Glorious Fighters* boxes had a $216.65 Market Price; October sales ran $205 to $259.95 (TCGplayer).
  • At MSRP, 20 packs at $5.99 come to $119.80. Bandai lists only a pack price, not a box price.

It's not clear why the B32 presale sits so far above recent Ultra-Bout boxes. A handful of early buyers, the Anniversary God Rare and short presale supply could all play a part. Presale prices usually change once a set ships and stores' allocations reach the market, so treat $529.89 as a snapshot, not a value.

20 or 24 packs?

Bandai's B32 page says 20 packs per box, down from the 24 it lists for B30 and B31. TCGplayer's product description and UK retailer Total Cards say 24. TCGplayer's description also lists two God Rares instead of three, and its rarity counts add up to 184 cards, not 185, so we're going with Bandai's numbers. Check the pack count on any listing before you preorder, because it changes what you pay per pack.

Should you open packs or buy singles?

If you're after one God Rare or the Anniversary God Rare, buying the single after release is almost always the cheaper route. Bandai publishes no pull rates. Card Gamer's rarity guide says God Rares in older sets turned up about once per three cases of 12 boxes, roughly 1 in 36 boxes (about 2.8%), but it doesn't say who measured that, and it predates the Ultra-Bout series (Card Gamer, updated Jan 2, 2025). Treat it as a rough guide at best.

Opening makes more sense if you play Masters and want the Leaders and Concept Rares for decks, or if you simply enjoy the pull. If you keep a box sealed, our guide to storing sealed booster boxes covers heat, light and humidity, and Masters cards take standard-size sleeves.
