Updated: October 31, 2026

Glorious Victors (GLVI) is the next 60-card Yu-Gi-Oh! booster set, and it reaches North American stores on December 4, 2026. Konami hasn't posted the full card list yet, so this guide sticks to what's confirmed: the chase rarities, the four cards Konami has shown, what the same cards cost in Japan, and the presale box price. Everything here was checked on October 31, 2026, and we'll update it when the list and the first English sales arrive.

How we built this guide: release dates, set structure and card names come from Konami's product pages. Japanese prices are store prices from the Japanese card shop Yuyu-tei, read October 31, 2026, converted at ¥157.49 to the dollar. The box price is TCGplayer's presale Market Price and sales history for the sealed English box. There are no English single-card prices yet, so there's no price ranking here.

When does Glorious Victors release?

Glorious Victors launches on December 4, 2026 in North America, which is also the day it becomes tournament-legal in Konami events (Konami). Official Tournament Stores can open it two days earlier, on December 2. In Europe the release date is December 3, 2026 (Konami EU).

The set was announced in August: YGOrganization posted the set details on August 12, 2026 (YGOrganization), and ICv2 reported the announcement on August 18 (ICv2). For the rest of the winter schedule across games, see our TCG release calendar.

What are the chase rarities in Glorious Victors?

The cards collectors will chase are the 10 Starlight Rares and, a step below, the 15 Collector's Rares. Both are extra versions of cards that are already in the 60-card set, not extra cards.

  • Starlight Rare is the top tier of today's English core sets. A lattice-like holographic pattern covers almost the whole card, border included. Starlight Rares came back to core sets with Duelist's Advance on July 4, 2025, and Konami said they'd show up at "about the same rate" as the Quarter Century Secret Rares they replaced (Konami).
  • Collector's Rare has a muted rainbow foil with a raised texture that some collectors compare to fingerprints (TCGplayer).
  • Secret Rare (3 cards) and Ultra Rare (10 cards) are the regular top foils of the set.

Konami doesn't publish pull rates for Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG sets, and Glorious Victors isn't out, so there's no opening sample yet. Each pack has one foil slot, so a 24-pack box has 24 chances at a Super Rare or better. For a rough sense of scale from another set, one community sample logged 4 Starlight Rares in 312 packs (13 boxes) of Beyond the Brave (TCGTalk). That's a small sample from a different set, not a Glorious Victors rate.

If you're not sure how to tell these foils apart, our guide to Yu-Gi-Oh! card rarities has the details, with what each one looks like in hand.

Which Glorious Victors cards has Konami confirmed?

Four. Konami's product page names these cards and the three themes they belong to (Konami):

Card

Theme

What it does

Pere-Zenet Em Heru

Zenet

Ancient Egypt style; Normal Monsters help Ritual Summon

Cielo, the Veil of Raise Moon

Raise Moon

Nightlife style; extra draws, even on your opponent's turn

Cielo, the Night Sky of Raise Moon - No More Bets!

Raise Moon

Turns your opponent's searches into blind draws

Trirealm Rift Darkness

Trirealm Rift

Banishes cards face-down and adds one back each turn

Konami hasn't given these cards set numbers or rarities yet. Yugipedia's English set list shows the same four cards and nothing else as of October 31, 2026 (Yugipedia). That means nobody outside Konami knows which 10 cards get Starlight Rares. Any list that claims to know is guessing.

What do the Japanese versions sell for?

Glorious Victors shares its name and its three themes with Japan's Deck-Build Pack: Glorious Victors (code DBGV), which came out in Japan on September 5, 2026 (SNKRDUNK). It's a smaller, 45-card set (Yugipedia), and its top rarity is the Prismatic Secret Rare, which the English set doesn't use. So the Japanese prices tell you which cards players and collectors want, not what the English cards will cost.

Here's what the Japanese card shop Yuyu-tei was charging for the most expensive Japanese versions on October 31, 2026 (Yuyu-tei):

Japanese OCG cards. These are the shop's selling prices for in-stock copies, not sales. Dollar figures use ¥157.49 per $1 (ExchangeRate-API, Oct 31, 2026). English names for Nefertari and Sphinx are fan translations listed by Yugipedia; Konami hasn't confirmed them for the TCG.

For comparison, on launch day the Japanese marketplace SNKRDUNK listed market values from ¥15,000 for both the Veil of Raise Moon and Nefertari Prismatic Secret Rares (as of September 5, 2026). A shop's selling price and a marketplace value aren't the same measure, but the gap suggests Japanese prices have come down since launch, as they often do once more packs are opened.

Speculation: the two Cielo cards are the most expensive Japanese versions and both appear on Konami's English product page, which makes them likely candidates for Starlight Rare versions. Konami hasn't confirmed which cards get Starlight Rares, and those picks don't always follow the Japanese prices.

How much is a Glorious Victors booster box?

A sealed English box had a TCGplayer Market Price of $78.75 (presale, October 31, 2026), with the lowest of 10 listings at $74.99 (TCGplayer). TCGplayer's sales history shows 24 boxes sold in 16 orders since September 7, and the last three boxes, sold on or after October 28, went for $77.72–$77.87.

That works out to $78.75 / 24 = $3.28 per pack, below the $4.49 pack MSRP (24 packs at MSRP would be $107.76). Presale box prices often move once the set is out and the Starlight Rares are known, in either direction. If you want to compare sealed formats before you buy, our guide to booster boxes vs bundles explains the trade-offs.

Should you open packs or wait for singles?

That depends on whether you want the experience or a specific card. Opening is the fun part. But if your goal is one Starlight Rare, the single is usually the cheaper route, because each pack has only one foil slot and Konami doesn't publish the odds.

New sets also tend to settle after the first weeks of opening, which is exactly when the most copies hit the market. If you're not in a hurry, waiting a few weeks after December 4 shows you what the Starlight Rares actually sell for. Whatever you pull, sleeve it before it goes in a binder; our card sleeve size guide covers the right fit for Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

December 4, 2026 in North America, December 3, 2026 in Europe, and December 2 at Official Tournament Stores, according to Konami's product pages.

60: 3 Secret Rares, 10 Ultra Rares, 10 Super Rares and 37 Rares. Fifteen of them also come as Collector's Rares and ten as Starlight Rares.
