The most valuable Lorcana cards today are almost all Iconic cards, the rarity Ravensburger added in 2025 with only two cards per set, plus a handful of Enchanted favorites like Winnie the Pooh and Elsa. This list ranks them by what Near Mint copies actually sold for on TCGplayer, with the sale dates, so you can see real prices rather than asking prices. It also covers what changes when Into the Inkdark adds serialized Illustrious cards in February.

Why are Iconic cards the most valuable Lorcana cards?

Because there are so few of them. Ravensburger says Iconic cards are "extremely rare with only two appearing in each set" (Disney Lorcana, May 2025). They arrived with Fabled in September 2025, alongside a second new rarity, Epic.

An Iconic card is a full-art version of a character with a special lore-star foil pattern and 3D hot stamping (Disney Lorcana, Aug 28, 2025). Ravensburger describes them as far rarer than Enchanted cards (Disney Lorcana, Aug 4, 2025). Ravensburger doesn't publish pack odds for either rarity.

Two more things push Iconic prices up. They feature the biggest names, with Mickey and Minnie leading the very first pair (Disney Lorcana, Jul 31, 2025). And the oldest Iconics have had the most time to disappear into binders, so fewer copies come up for sale.

Release dates: Fabled and Whispers in the Well from Disney Lorcana; Attack of the Vine! from its press release; Hyperia City from its press release. Winterspell from its prerelease guide; Wilds Unknown from Wargamer.

A few things jump out:

  • The two Mickeys tell you how thin this market is. Mickey – Brave Little Prince sold only once on TCGplayer between July and late October, at $2,500, while TCGplayer's own Market Price for it read $3,875 on Oct 29, 2026. With so few sales, "market price" can sit far from what anyone actually paid.
  • Brand-new Iconics sell in bursts. Both Hyperia City Iconics sold several times within days of the set's Oct 23 release. Early prices for a new set rarely hold still, so treat those ranges as a first snapshot.
  • Lilo & Stitch shows how fast prices can move. Its September sales were around $1,400–$1,500; by late October two copies sold for $890–$900.

The most valuable Enchanted cards

Enchanted cards are full-art versions with alternate artwork and Ravensburger's "Inkwash" foil, numbered above the set total (like 207/204). They were Lorcana's top rarity from The First Chapter, which had 12 of them, and they play exactly like the regular card (Disney Lorcana). There are far more Enchanteds than Iconics, so only the most popular ones reach Iconic prices.

Elsa – Spirit of Winter is the classic: the chase card from the very first set in 2023, and still the most valuable Enchanted from that set. Its sales were remarkably steady through September, all within a few dollars of $860. Fabled has three of the seven Enchanteds in this table, with Pooh, Mickey and Ariel all from that set.

What about promo cards?

Some of the highest asking prices in Lorcana belong to tournament and event promos, cards given to top players or event attendees rather than sold in packs. They change hands so rarely that prices swing wildly. TCGplayer recorded two Near Mint sales of the Let It Go promo for Disney Lorcana Challenge Top 128 finishers in 2026: $1,450 on Jul 23 and $2,500 on Sep 9 (TCGplayer).

That's why this list sticks to cards you can pull from packs. If you own an event promo, look at its own sales history and expect a wide range.

The newest sets: Hyperia City and Into the Inkdark

Hyperia City (Oct 23, 2026) is the newest set in this list, and its two Iconics, Mickey Mouse – Best in Town and Cinderella – Unintentional Icon, are the ones Ravensburger named as the set's rarest (Disney Lorcana, Sep 22, 2026). Its top Enchanted so far, Ariel – Collector of Oddities, sold for $375–$413 in the set's first week (Oct 28, 2026), well below the older Enchanteds above.

Into the Inkdark arrives on February 12, 2027 (Disney Lorcana; ICv2, Oct 23, 2026) and changes the top of the ladder:

  • Illustrious is a new rarity above everything else in this post. Each set has six Illustrious cards, and only 23 copies of each are printed. They're serialized, so each copy is numbered.
  • Illustrious cards come only in Collector Boosters, 12-card packs where every card is foil, sold at select Ravensburger Play Hub stores and Disney Parks and stores (Disney Lorcana, Sep 22, 2026).
  • No Illustrious card has sold yet, so there's no honest price to give. With 23 copies each, expect very few sales, each one a headline.

For release dates across all five games, see our TCG release calendar.

What makes one Lorcana card worth more than another?

Rarity sets the ceiling, but the character decides who's paying. The patterns in the sales above:

  1. Rarity tier. Iconic beats Enchanted almost every time, and Enchanted beats everything below it.
  2. The character. Mickey, Minnie, Pooh, Elsa and Ariel appear again and again near the top. Fan favorites carry a premium at every rarity.
  3. Set age and supply. Older sets have had more copies opened, but also more copies tucked away in collections. Brand-new sets often sell high in the first days, then settle.
  4. Condition. Every price here is Near Mint. Played copies sell for less: a Moderately Played Elsa – Spirit of Winter sold for $720 on Sep 10, 2026, while Near Mint copies went for about $860 that month (TCGplayer).
  5. How it's sold. A graded copy from a known grader is a different item from a raw card. If you're weighing grading, our PSA vs CGC vs TAG vs BGS comparison and guide to pre-grading at home cover the costs and what graders look for.

How to check what your Lorcana card is worth

Look at sold prices for your exact card, not asking prices. Here's the routine we use:

  1. Find the exact version. Check the collector number at the bottom of the card. An Enchanted or Iconic is numbered above the set total, like 241/204, and the regular version of the same character is a different, much cheaper card.
  2. Use sold prices. On TCGplayer, open the product page and look at the latest sales. On eBay, filter for sold listings.
  3. Match the condition. Compare Near Mint with Near Mint. Whitening on the edges or a scratch on the foil drops the price fast.
  4. Note the date and count. One sale three months ago isn't a price. Several sales in the last few weeks are.
Four steps to check a Lorcana card's value: find the exact version by collector number, use sold prices not asking prices, match the condition, and note how recent and how many the sales are
One recent sale is a clue; several recent sales are a price.

Before you buy a high-value card, read our guide to spotting fake cards and resealed packs, and get the right sleeves and toploaders from our card sleeve sizes by game chart. Our Lorcana rarity explainer, coming in February, walks through every tier from Common to Illustrious.

FAQ

What is the most valuable Lorcana card?

Among cards from packs, Fabled's two Iconics: Minnie Mouse – Sweetheart Princess (recent Near Mint sales $2,450–$4,200) and Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Prince (last sale $2,500), on TCGplayer as of Oct 29, 2026. Some event promos have sold for similar amounts.

What is an Iconic card in Lorcana?

The rarest pack rarity before Illustrious: a full-art card with a lore-star foil pattern and 3D hot stamping. There are only two per set, starting with Fabled in 2025.

How rare are Enchanted cards?

Much rarer than Legendary or Epic cards, but more common than Iconics. Ravensburger doesn't publish official odds, so any "1 in X packs" figure you see is a community estimate.

Are Lorcana cards worth money?

Most aren't: commons and uncommons sell for cents. Iconics and popular Enchanteds sell for hundreds or thousands of dollars, so check the collector number and rarity of anything foil and full-art.

What are Illustrious cards?

A new serialized rarity starting with Into the Inkdark (Feb 12, 2027): six per set, 23 copies of each, found only in Collector Boosters.

Should I grade my Enchanted card?

Only if it's clean enough to grade well and you'd like the protection. Compare the grading cost with the gap between raw and graded sold prices for that card first.
