Japan's next Pokémon Card Game expansion, Hadou Seeker (ハドウシーカー), goes on sale November 27, 2026, according to the official product page posted on October 23. English-speaking fans mostly call it Aura Seeker. Mega Lucario Z ex leads the set, which is also expected to become the first English expansion of 2027.

Aura Seeker: key facts

  • Japanese name: ポケモンカードゲーム MEGA 拡張パック「ハドウシーカー」 (Hadou Seeker, widely translated as Aura Seeker)
  • Release date (Japan): Friday, November 27, 2026
  • Announced: October 23, 2026, on pokemon-card.com
  • Pack: 5 random cards, ¥200 suggested retail price including tax
  • Not on the official page: total card count, box contents, campaigns

Aura Seeker cards shown so far

The product page highlights nine cards. Three are new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex with a "Z" in the name:

  • Mega Lucario Z ex, whose Ability, also called Hadou Seeker, searches the deck for a Supporter
  • Mega Garchomp Z ex, whose attack scales with the Dragon Pokémon in the discard pile
  • Mega Absol Z ex, whose attack also limits the opponent's Special Energy and Stadiums for a turn

Sigilyph ex, Meloetta, Drampa, Revavroom and Vibrava round out the Pokémon shown, plus a Supporter card for Korrina built around Mega Evolution attacks. The page also says the set includes no basic Energy cards, so Japanese players will need their own.

"Hadou" is the Japanese word the games use for Lucario's aura, which is where the common English rendering comes from. The Pokémon Company hasn't published an English name for the Japanese set itself.

When it comes to English

The English version hasn't been announced by The Pokémon Company on its own pages yet. Collector tracker Bill's Archive says PokéBeach reported on October 20 that it will be called Flowing Fists, set code FLO, releasing February 5, 2027, with prereleases from January 23 to 31. Wargamer carries the same name and date. Until a pokemon.com announcement appears, treat both as reported.

Mega Lucario Z ex and Sigilyph ex were first shown in English at the World Championships in August, per the same tracker.

What it means for collectors

If you collect Japanese sets, this is the next main expansion on the calendar, three weeks after Delta Reign, the English version of Storm Emeralda, lands on November 6. Japanese sets usually arrive months before their English versions, which gives you a long preview of the cards. Our Japanese vs English Pokémon cards guide covers pack contents, rarity codes and card quality. Our rarities explainer covers the symbols you'll see on the new cards.
